If something happens to you, your family should not be locked out.

InheriBit stores your important information securely and gives your family a clear, controlled way to access it only when it is truly needed.

Everything works fine. Until one day it doesn't.

In most homes, one person handles everything.

Bank apps. Investments. Passwords. Documents.

No one else really needs to know. Until they do.

If that person is suddenly not available, things fall apart fast.

You cannot access accounts.
You cannot reset passwords.
You do not even know what exists.

People assume nominees or documents will help. They don't.

A nominee does not log you into an app.
A document does not unlock a phone.
And no one writes down everything in a way someone else can actually use.

Families are left stressed, confused, and stuck right when they need clarity the most.

You hold the key

This is not about sharing passwords. It is about creating a path.

InheriBit gives your family a way forward without giving up your control.

You store everything in one place.
You define your household.
You decide who can request access.
You define what should happen if you are not there to respond.

Nothing is shared instantly.
Nothing is accessible just because someone asks.

Access follows a process you set in advance.

So your family is not blocked and your data is not exposed.

What actually happens in an emergency

1

You set everything up

You add your accounts, documents, and important details.

You create your household.
Each person gets their own access. Nothing is shared by default.

You set rules:
Who can request access
Whether approval is needed
How long to wait if you do not respond

You also set a household password.
This is required to unlock shared data later.

2

If something happens

A family member raises a request.

You are notified immediately.

3

If you respond

You can approve or deny the request.

Simple.

4

If you do not respond

This is where most systems fail. This is where InheriBit is different.

After your defined waiting time:

  • The request moves forward based on your policy
  • Emergency contacts may be notified
  • InheriBit reviews the request

We do not blindly unlock access.

We check:

  • request context
  • signals of inactivity
  • any supporting proof if required

5

Access is granted carefully

If the request passes the process:

  • The encrypted backup is released
  • It is still locked
  • It can only be opened using the household password

This means:

Even if someone gets the file they cannot read anything without the password you set.

6

Final unlock happens locally

The family member uses the household password to unlock the data.

No password, no access.
Not even for us.

FAQ — verification, backups, and what happens if you can’t respond.

Your data is not sitting on our servers waiting to be read

Everything is encrypted before it leaves your device.

We do not have your passwords.
We do not have your readable data.
We cannot open your vault.

Even in emergencies:

  • We do not see your data
  • We only pass along encrypted information
  • Final access always depends on your household password

There is no backdoor.

Important concepts

Household

This is your trusted group.

Everyone has their own identity.
No shared logins. No accidental access.

Policies

You define how access works.

Who can ask
Who must approve
How long to wait

Nothing happens outside these rules.

Emergency Access

Access is not instant.

It follows a sequence:

Request → Wait → Verification → Release

Backup

You can create a secure backup of your data.

This backup:

  • is encrypted
  • is stored safely
  • is only useful with your household password

Without the password, it is useless.

Household Password

This is the final layer.

Even if everything else passes, this password is still required.

It ensures:

Only your intended people can actually read the data.

Features

Access only when it should happen

No one gets instant entry just by asking.

You define the rules

Everything follows your setup. Not assumptions.

Works even if you are not there

Timeout and verification ensure your family is not stuck.

Encrypted end to end

Your data is never readable to us.

Final control stays with your family

The household password is required to unlock anything.

We are building this carefully

This is not a product you rush.

We are inviting a small group of people to test this in real scenarios.

You will:

  • Set up your household
  • Try emergency flows
  • Tell us what feels confusing or unsafe

We are listening closely because this needs to be right.

This is for the moment no one plans for

If everything goes well, you will never need this.

But if something does go wrong, your family will not be guessing.
They will have a path.

And it will work the way you intended.
